What Customers Say About Celestron 21068 SkyScout Scope 90mm Telescope with Sky Scout Mounting Braket:
|
|
- Lightweight and easy to travel with. It is great for the occasional weekend peak into the sky. The moon looks great through the scope. This scope had a decent aperature and a decent price. - Hard to track an object because when you tighten the locking handle the tripod moves a lot.
It was a chore taking it outside. Good for 90mm - Mounts a Celestron Skyscout. - In my neighborhood I easily saw Jupiter and Saturn. Overall I am happy with my purchase. I bought this telescope to replace my 110 pound cassegrain.
PROS - Great price. Cons - Lots of cheap plastic parts.
Only one small problem-Altitude lock won't hold on its own in a horizontal position,so as to switch users without re-adjustment. First time was exciting-Saw Jupiter's red spot-Look forward to viewing more when I can get to a darker area. Other than that I love it.
